HOST Nottingham has grown from a partnership of the leading refugee agencies working in Nottingham. The original Steering group was comprised of a representative from... They worked together to set up, administer and manage the HOST Nottingham Project so we can help more destitute asylum seekers in Nottingham. Our aim is to provide a referral into accommodation for destitute asylum seekers. We request hosts to provide basic accommodation for a destitute asylum seeker from a week to three months. Once a client has a fresh claim which they can submit to the Home Office, they can be eligible for basic housing provided by G4S through the Home Office. The Nottingham Arimathea Trust is able to house a some destitute asylum seekers in their houses, which are for the most vulnerable clients.
