During the last few weeks our clothes bank volunteer led by Clothes Bank Manger Rita Cannon has been working tremendously hard in organising, labelling and tidying our clothes bank ready to receive referrals again. It's looking fabulous!
Although we are still not receiving guests in person to the clothes bank, we are now taking referrals for adult and children's clothes and shoes to be delivered to asylum seekers and refugees in Nottingham.
If you know an asylum seeker or refugee in Nottingham who is in need of clothes, please get in touch to host@email@example.com. Please give specific sizes and colours of desired clothing if you can.
We are recruiting Clothes Bank Volunteers!
In light of the recent Covid-19 virus, many asylum seekers and refugees have not been able to access clothing in the way they usually would, as lots of charities have changed their ways of working. We are preparing for a greater demand for clothing parcels and delivery and therefore looking for volunteers for our Clothing Bank.
Could you give a few hours of your time per month to organise our clothes, pack them up into parcels and deliver them to asylum seekers and refugees? If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch and visit our Clothes Bank page for more information.
